New Lake Baoyue

As Old Lake Baoyue lies in the Jincheng Distillery of Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor, we have built a New Lake Baoyue in the new distillery. The hemisphere and its reflection on the lake form a full moon to create the atmosphere as depicted in verses: “I raise my chalice to invite the shining moon, the moon casts me a shadow and we have a triad” (trans. by Betty Tseng) written by the great Tang poet Bo Li, dubbed the immortal of poetry, in his famous poem “Drinking Alone Under the Moon”.
