After having won great honors at international spirits competitions for two consecutive years, the KKL was invited to entertain foreign guests and home-coming overseas Chinese at the National Day banquet with its best liquors. The KKL was honored to join in the celebration of the glorious moment. With a history of over 60 years, the KKL always insists on producing good-quality liquor using the solid-state fermentation method. It is blessed to be located in a most favorable environment, which features fresh air, clean water from granite formation, and a large number of war-time tunnels perfect for storing liquors. That’s how the KKL has been able to develop the soul of its liquors and become famous around the world. Its liquor now becomes the best option for the government as choosing gifts to visiting and visited foreign dignitaries. For this year’s National Day banquet dinner celebrating the 106th anniversary of the country’s birthday, the KKL picked two liquors, including Treasure Collection of Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor, which had won Double Gold Medals for two consecutive years at the 2016 and 2017 San Francisco World Spirits Competitions, and the V.S.O Kaoliang Liquor, which had won Grand Golds for two consecutive years at the 2016 and 2017 Monde Selection competitions. They were for banquet guests to taste what pure alcoholic drinks are like. Offered at the same were kaoliang cocktails that were part of the KKL’s many innovations. The cocktails were based on the KKL’s “Winning Liquor,” which had won gold medals at Monde Selection for multiple times. They were concocted by bar-tenders who had won world bar-tending championships. They are called “Double Ten Bountiful Celebrations” and “Double Ten Double Celebrations” respectively. They represent the KKL’s sincerity in celebrating the country’s birthday and wishing for blessings to and prosperity for the country.
