Origin: Kinmen was originally a desert island. Righteous people from the Central Plain migrated to this wonderland to escape the upheaval of the five barbarians in the Jin dynasties. When scholar Zhu Xi lectured at Yannan Academy in the Song dynasty, islanders began to practice integrity. Kinmen became an important post in the territorial waters of the Ming dynasty. In the late Ming dynasty, King Lu and the Chengs Family led uprisings in Kinmen, foreshadowing the rise of countless famous generals in the Qing dynasty. In either history or the future, Kinmen has been and will be playing a valuable and special role. As one of the regular memorial liquors in limited edition, the Kinmen Memorial Kaoliang Liquor was introduced in the 1990s. It is made with the exceptional local natural resources to commemorate those respectful personages of Kinmen in history.
Package design: The distinctive local residences are used on the package to commemorate the arduous population growth and development of Kinmen over the past centuries and highlight the historical status and memories of Kinmen. The same label design of the red-label VSO Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor is used on the hexagonal bottle. Gold, silver, and black colors are the key vision. The pattern of the distinctive Min-styled local residences is located on the upper part of the label, and the wind lion god pattern sits on the pentagonal upper label to commemorate the arduous development and achievements of Kinmen over the past centuries.
