Origin: Established in 1952, the internationally renowned Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor Inc. (KKL) launched the KKL 69th Memorial Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor to celebrate its 69th anniversary so as to leave the sweetest memory for the distillery’s glorious history and continue this legacy in the next 60 years.

Package design: The unique charm of the KKL 69th Memorial Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor is presented by two design themes: the fermentation starter, known as the “backbone of wine”, and the golden wheat. The golden tone symbolizes the bumper harvest. The fermentation starter accomplishing KKL’s achievements is printed on the label. Patterns of the ears of wheat in the style of the wave of golden wheat are used to decorate the box surface to disseminate an unearthly vigor. The wheat ears’ blinking effulgence also speak of KKL’s ingenuity and shokunin spirit to touch the soul through tastes surpassing the limit of the tastebuds.

Liquor: Plump-eared glutinous sorghums with thick husks are selected for making the crystal-clear liquor that delivers a natural grain aroma and an elegant scent. The fruity taste in the bodily rich liquor and the scent make the smooth taste dance over the tastebuds. When the fainted nectar fragrance is released, the finish turns sweet and strong.
