A Kinmen specialty products store was established on Roosevelt Road in Taipei, where various KKL memorial liquors were sold. Subsequently, such stores in Kaohsiung and Taichung were set up.
A special 823 Memorial Exhibition was held at the Far Eastern Department Store on Bao-Ching Road, Taipei. At the event, all types of KKL liquors were completely sold out, causing a great sensation all across Taiwan.
Kinmen Kaoliang was incorporated into the national Tobacco and Wine Monopoly Bureau. Every year, 2.5 million kilograms of the 60% Liquor was produced, of which around seventy percent was sold via the Monopoly Bureau.(1977/12/01)
